So, a month without updates. Thanksgiving break is starting next week, but I’ll probably be spending a lot of time on my art projects, so no promises. When winter break comes up, I’ll have a bit more time to work on it.
One of the bigger problems with updates, however, doesn’t even have to do with homework, but with time per page. When I first started out with TaL, it was roughly done lineart. Now, I’m not only coloring, but working to make each page as high quality as possible. I do think its improved dramatically (though I wish I was faster) but I’m honestly wondering what people want from TaL more: quality, or quantity of updates. Certainly, color adds a lot of information and clarity, and adds for a lot of things I couldn’t easily do with black and white. Plus, let’s face it, it’s shiny.
So, if you have an opinion on what you like better, higher quality pages versus more frequent updates, let me know on the shoutbox or on the page comments!
Oh, and on the matter of 24 hour comics: I didn’t finish this time.
Also, I ended up doing a completely different, halloween inspired story. I do think what I got done was pretty amusing, so I’ll probably post it as a vote incentive, and possibly the other thing as well. However, I haven’t wanted to post vote incentives until I’ve got some of a buffer, so I feel you guys are voting for something worthwhile.
As always, love you guys, and for those in America, have a great Thanksgiving! (You guys who aren’t should also have an awesome day, of course.
) Take care!
