"Thunder and Lighting (or "TaL" as it is more frequently referred to) was born during a giant storm on the California coast in the spring of 2006. Originally formed as the basis of a short story intended to be entered into Tokyopop's "Rising Stars of Manga" competition, it quickly grew far beyond the parameters of the competition. After a little looking and a lot of brainstorming, we ultimately found a home for it online at Comicgenesis where it manifested as a webcomic. 

 Two years down the road and we're still at it, though we've since moved to our own domain and the story continues to grow beyond even our own expectations. Ultimately, we plan to publish the stories in book format, in a series of volumes and we continue to work towards that goal, despite our recent downtime due to hiatuses, technical difficulties and hosting trials. However, we are now back on our feet with a once a week update schedule on Sundays, and we thank all of you for your patience and continued interest.
