Greetings again!

And yay for summer! For those of you still finishing up finals, you have my sympathies, but for those who are already free, congrats! I hope you had a very successful end to your school year.

Anywho, that being said, I'll get on to what you're really interested in: the update! Yes, that's right, there's a new page of Chapter 2 to check out. Huzzah! In accordance with our production plan, the next update will be one of the Chapter 1 redos, followed by another Chapter 2 page and so on. The actual rate of how quickly we produce the pages is yet to be determined, but through a series of happy events, it's looking like we might be able to crank things out at a decent pace. More on that when we've settled into a rhythm. And that's going to have to wait for probably another week as I finish up working on The Ramayana.

Last but not least, a note on how we're attempting to arrange the redux pages. Basically, if you go back to the old pages and there's a redux version available, you should be able to click on the original page and it will take you to the new one. Does that make sense? I'm working on adding a border to indicate that it's a clickable link, but in the meantime, you can hover your mouse over the image, and it should let you know if there's another version available. I hope that makes sense, but I have the feeling I'm not explaining it very well, so if you have any questions, feel free to post in the shoutbox and I'll try again. :)

P.S. We decided to divide up the work a little more evenly by having me attempt the backgrounds. The hope is that this will speed up production somewhat, and it seems to be going well so far, even though I'm still a beginner. Anyway, that's what the style change in the backgrounds is about, if you were curious. Now you know!
